Databand is acquired by IBM to strengthen its data observability offering

Databand, an Israeli data observability software company that helps companies fix data issues, has been acquired by IBM for an undisclosed sum.

Databand's open and extendable approach makes integration and observability into data infrastructure easier and more convenient

According to IBM, enterprises will also have full flexibility in how they run Databand, whether as-a-Service (SaaS) or as a self-hosted software subscription.

Josh Benamram, Co-Founder and CEO, Databand said, "Joining IBM will help us scale our software and significantly accelerate our ability to meet the evolving needs of enterprise clients".
