After a change in policy, Google launches Street View in India with local partners
Genesys and Tech Mahindra will work together to build 360-degree street and landmark maps
Because of regulatory obstacles, 360-degree views of streets, tourist spots, and landmarks could not be launched in India previously.
Google Street View will be available on Google Maps and cover over 150,000 km across ten cities with imagery licensed from local partners
Government authorities will work with Google Maps to promote safe driving. Starting with Bengaluru, it will now show speed limits shared by traffic authorities.
